Nowadays the Company carries out 3
kinds of independently managed activities but in perfect synergy one towards
the others; production of Juveniles of the most interesting marine species is
the principal activity of the company, traditional extensive lagoon coastal
culture and semi-intensive culture the other important tool of the group.
The fry here produced are carefully graded and controlled. Furthermore, before
each delivery to any customer most sophisticated histologic and bacteriologic
tests, x-rays and vaccinations are carried out for every batch of fries.
All the preventive programmes and diagnostic investigations are carried out by
veterinary specialists in collaboration with the most important scientific
research centres for fish diseases.

After consolidating its
position on the market, Valle Cą Zuliani has bought a second
reproduction unit located in Monfalcone (GO), specialised in the
production of sea bream, to allow us to split up the production of the main
species: sea bass and sea bream, in two distinct hatcheries to guarantee
maximum specialisation in the production technique and a maximum control of the
product.
The whole production is
scheduled in different cycles that allows us to be able to supply the customer
with the best quality in a period that goes from March up to June; besides sea
bream and sea bass, some of the most interesting species of sparids like
sheepshead bream (Diplodus puntazzo) and dentex (Dentex dentex)
are produced.
